2 fairly new drawings

LIVE ART! WHAT!

Sometimes on Tuesday nights I do live art at Bimbos (http://www.bimbodeluxe.com.au/bimbo.html) with some of Melbourne’s more entertaning illustrator types. This is a piece I did with Leith, who is a top illustrator and a top guy. You can find him on the internets here http://www.myspace.com/leithwalton . Can you spot the bits I drew?

The White Rabbit

I did a little greylead drawing for the White Rabbit show, an all greylead pencil drawing exhibition (Flyer pictured above). Anyway you can see my contribution to the show here and below it you can see a photo of a bunny toy made by the amazing Odessa Sawyer that she based on the toy in my drawing. You can find out more about Odessa here http://www.facebook.com/pages/Odessa-Sawyer/137328801801 . Her work is really amazing and I was so pleased to get this photo

needles and forbidden literature

Some new horror, followed by an old treat. Enjoy.

really old drawings

More stuff thats so old I can't remember drawing it.

more nonsense

The deck was made for Minus Canvas 3, at Jugglers Art Space in Fortitude Valley and the above drawing was flyer art used for my last solo show

An IngleseCoenJackson Production

The Drill Mummy will be your new favourite horror motion picture. Just you wait. And when the movie comes out you can tell your friends you're cool because you knew about it first...

an explorer and an adventurer

drawings done or other people for fun and or money

The things I draw for others tend to end up looking prettier than my usual stuff.
The bottom piece in the magazine is from Wooden Toy #6 http://www.woodentoyquarterly.com/ The piece accompanied a Miss Blimey story. You should read more about Miss Blimey and her pirate adventures here http://www.missblimey.com/

SKETCHEL!

heres another thing I did a picture for a little while back: The Sketchel vs 696 show. All the work looked really sweet. Lost of hand drawn/painted designs on nice bags. This is how mine turned out.

Rocket cat, umbrella, robot and guts

yay!

Dave Jackson's MELON HEAD

This is MELONHEAD a comic written by David Jackson and drawn by me for the 2nd issue of his comics anthology, Modern Gentlemen. Its mostly horror and grossout comedy, so if you're that way inclined you should go get a copy at your local store. You can find out more about the comic and Dave's other projects here http://www.pleasant-productions.com/

sludge the world

shining boy, Tom H did the colours on the top one.

some more stuff from last year and whenever

More drawings, the top ones painted on an ibook, the next ones from the Pandamonium show and the bottom 2 I can barely remember drawing. I don't have any of these pictures anymore. I'm sure their current homes are better than what they'd be doing with me, which is residing in the shed or under my bed.

Get Trucked!

This is my cap from last years Get Trucked, trucker cap art show at 696. This years show is rolling around real soon. I will post the flyer for it and photos of my new painted trucker caps very soon

promnight at the robot graveyard

Dig the floral couch action behind the deck!

Elroy and DPD

fanart of two of the popular characters from the Melbourne Underground Film Festival award winning motion picture CANNIBAL SUBURBIA http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1298699/

Johnny Functionroom, The Mad Scientician

What do you do when you have a piece of crap old pawn shop imitation strat that doesn't work lying around the house? Well you draw a bunch of skulls n stuff on it!
I think Martha Stewart said that..

Angel of def

This piece has been in a few shows now. It was drawn/painted on a ratty old skateboard, that either I found or was given. I take ratty pieces of wood for drawing on when and where I can get them.

sub panda

This was one of a few pieces I put in the Pandamonium show last year and above it is the flyer for the show, added for the sake of authenticity or something. Pretty much any panda related artwork I post here was probably in that show.

Moving on, moving on...

I am moving my artsuffs from http://pierredrawsstuff.wordpress.com/ to here in an effort to see what blogspots like. All the cool kids seem to be using it and the cool kids are always right... Right?

Anyway the above picture managed to sneak into the Oct 2008 issue of Desktop magazine. If you can find a copy, get it and tell your friends I'm nice.
